Peace925 is a silversmith studio located in Sterling, Kansas. Founded in 1872, the town of Peace was established in Rice County, which changed its name to Sterling in 1876. At one point, both Sterling and Peace existed at the same time, according to historians.
Since this silversmithing journey began with Sterling Silver, which is 92.5% silver, naming the business came easy. Once again Peace and Sterling (.925) are co-existing.
Fine Silver, which is 99.9% silver, is also used extensively in designs, along with other metals, materials and stones. Mixing media allows for a wider range of creativity and relevancy.
